I don't follow fashion. I'm an atheist. But because of the
'tude that exudes from this takeoff blog,
Project Rungay (which taglines itself as "Project Runway from a VERY gay perspective") I do find myself tuning in on occasion. Aha! Wedding stuff.
I've never seen
Bravo's Project Runway. I'm convinced I'm not missing anything because the only future reality shows have to look forward to is in the blogosphere. Yeah, the show's judge's each have their own blog, but in this case, the shows producers can fall helplessly into the arms of two wonderfully outspoken and gay fashion critics--probably amateur-- they're too right on about most fashion things to be paid professionals. I've no doubt when this reality show's time is over, these Gayboys will be holding its head in the bathroom. Their other blog,

I bet these guys will end up being the dear Abbott's (male version- at least for now- of Dear Abby) for fashion long after Project Runway is dead and gone. I liked what the Gayboys said about this wedding dress with the dried brussel sprouts uhm,
, I mean roses at the bottom. In fact their whole post is about Nora's reality show struggles with this wedding dress.
I feel her pain. Help me out Gayboys! I'm worried the design I'm adapting for my wedding dress will come out too simple. Except that simple is beautiful. The bridal store (Margene's in Oakland) recommended I dye the shoes silver to play off the lavender of the dress with the white fabric addition to it (you'll see, you'll see!! have patience! can't hurry the harvest...).
For now, I'd have to say: Live gay, as gay as the wind blows, as gay as your heart knows...he's too fine...to be straight.
